niwaesss.. SO THANKFULL TO GOD for making this day the most memorable 'last day before my birthday' day.. I'm gonna turn 21 in an hour's time and I can't stop being amazed at how my day just went and I attributed it all to God.
K. This is what happened. I've planned 'today' (roughly) from over 1 month ago. My plan is to go to Angus and have a steak with my special sum1
So this is how it turned out. The first miracle happened when we thought we missed the train to go to KL Central. As I roughly experienced before.. it takes quite a while before the next one comes.. and by KL standard of quite a while, i MEAN quite a while (30min - 1 hour maybe?) but BUT much to our surprise the next one came just about barely 5mins after.. and we got seats.. like wow.
The second one was my suggestion to go have bento lunch (the recommendation is Hachigo from KLCC 3rd floor) in the KLCC park.. but it was a long time finding seats (coz it was hot) and we finally settled for a roofted mini hut with 3-way benches. Sadly one Malay security guard (on petrol?) got to the place seconds before us and settled himself there with a smoke and a can of pepsi. And his walkie-talkie. Which was annoying but I dun care coz, I mean, I got the bento n' all and it was all good. Hachigo is really worth the price for Rm14 as well (taste authentic). Problem was when we finished eating and wanted to chill for a while, honey decided to put his arms around my shoulder which soooomehow pissed the guy off and he went berzerk telling us off and that no1 in the park was 'behaving like us', which really irritate us and hence making us leave (my suggestion) before my darling had the actualization of killing the dude. The amazing part was: if it wasn't for that security guard 'shoo'ing us off, we wouldn't have caught a chinese lady playing 'Liangze(?)' as well as another band playing afterwards (band was a double-bass, trumpet, guitar and an african drum mix) AND a soba-maker from this high-class Japanese restaurant making soba from scratch (and by scratch i mean from the big round soba dough). And other lots of interesting stuff. Experience was.. beyond great.. Spectacular even. Happy all round. Thank GOD truly for the lonely security guard who's out there just to piss ppl off.
Third thing was going home after a nice planned-for-Angus steak dinner set, where I thought of going by the monorail to central but got suggested otherwise. On the way, managed to get some beautiful strawberry tarts (part of the detour), and the most amazing thing was the timing of the U46 bus. A moment later and we would have missed the bus. If we had taken monorail most definitely missed the bus. The amazing thing about this: there was some construction truck that makes the bus-way stagnant and it left as soon as we board the bus. Amazing. And we got seats. More amazing. God is.. beyond words AWESOME
Lastly, as the bus dropped us off @ Sunway Pyramid, it was slightly raining, option to take a cab was put off coz of the obvious long queue.. and as we decided to walk home, lo and behold, Jason (EX-monash CFer =p) in his car spotted us and offered us a ride. Thanks be to God. What awesome timing, He made me so happy~
And now I'm here, closing off my blog post not bothering to post pics coz in 21 mins, I'm gonna turn 21!! Whee-hoo~
What a way to end my 20 years of my life (and going into 21st).
Thank GOD.
Amen =)
