An entry in Hong Kong!
Finally at long last I'm blogging again.. Yes.. it has been a while hasn't it? Too many things that had happened over this few weeks (5's a few, right?) including one special guy that came into my heart for exactly a month now (Yay! We're official! It's been a month! Wow!) Yup.. While some of us may think we've come a long way, in fact I think this may be just the beginning of a long journey together ahead (well I hope so anyways =p)
Anyways.. back to me typing in HK.. My first time here.. yup.. I'm typing with keeping S$24/day rate for using internet in mind.. Straight from the Kowloon Hotel room yep (the view here dang beautiful as well) Dang.. If only I'd thought of bringing the cable to connect my Sony Ericsson K750i (yep still using that phone) to the computer.. I would've shown y'all all the pics ^^ Oh well.
I'll be here in Hong Kong from the 20th (today) till the 23rd of December.. Arrived in the airport frm 10:30am and stayed there waiting for the city tour group. (Yep we're on tour) Whole family's here. Mom. Dad. My dear bro Alvin.. ^^ Geez.. HK airport's BIG! I'd have thought that SG's Changi is big enuf.. but this one is huge! Surprisingly enough.. after we boarded the tour bus that got everyone to their hotels, I noticed HK is somewhat similar like Singapore, what with the high rise HDB flats-like and the MRT and the buses, taxis and even the trade center with all the stacked rectangular blocks that looked oddly like the Jurong Trade center.. esp like those u can c when gg thru AYE towards the BSD area.. well.. u get my point..
At one time.. think was sec 3 or 4.. I remembered a textbook (most likely the SS one ) mentioning abt how Singapore's housing system was 'copied' from Hong Kong's one.. r was it the other way round? But din think so.. coz HK.. just by gg thru some of the city.. can see lotsa more HDBs in a concentrated area than Singapore and waaay taller ones as well.. so if my memory serves me right.. Singapore was in some ways a 'replica' of HK in a huge way. Yep.
Right now.. as I'm typing this entry at 14:45pm.. (whole family's haven't eaten lunch ye mind you) the rest of them are just slogging away enjoying the comforts of the hotel's bed.. haha.. oh ya.. Btw in case anyone wants to contact me my no. would be 95742787. find the country code yerself. Haha..
Gee. I'm hungry.
K lah.. gotta get my food. I'll blog as and when I get the chance to then. So far so good! Chiao then!
