It's funny how things turn out to be...
Had many stuff going on since I last blogged.. which was way waaay back.. lol
Went OBS to Pulau Ubin.. and I think, for a 5-day course, it was THé most enriching school-camp that I have ever been to. That is, excluding all community work trips that I made (for example, when I went to Nepal).. so that would mean.. FMSS sec 1 camp, sec 2 leadership camp, sec 3 leadership camp to malaysia, sec 4 camp(not counted), j1 IJC OAC camp.. yeah.. and OBS.. out of all those.. OBS HAD to be THE BEST.. no kidding..
If I were to tell all of it here in full details, I think I dun have the time and I think I'll drag.. cannot cannot.. so let me summarise it all in few sentences to just keep the whole thing as a beautiful memory..
Kays.. firstly.. I had the most wonderful watch (aka group.. not the clock u hav on ur wrists) 'Gandhi' comprising the most wonderful mix of team leaders a group could ever comprises of: Hakim, Jasmine, Da Wei, Jason, Shelly, Evelyn, Dinie, Winston, Amanda, me, Arshad, Faris, Patrick Kok and Yee Ching.. yup.. only 14 people.. but quantity does not make up the quality.. So yeah, we rock Gandhi! (Whoops getting draggy here). Basically, what we did was a whole lot of reflecting aside from rock-climbing, kayaking, inverse towers.. oh and yeah did I mention that we, as a whole 30 of us frm IJC is gonna be noted down inside the record book for making history in kayaking the whole round route of Pulau Ubin in less than 10 hours? (whew).. actually, to put it accurately.. we planned for a 10 hour trip around the whole of Pulau Ubin (with breaks) and we managed to made it in 9 hours, inclusive of the part that we were lost in the mangrove! Whee! Well done people.. so proud.. (=^^=)
Well yeah.. One of the things that I like best is not just about what we did during the camp, I think it's more of the aftermath or after the camp thing that was really touching.. Coz our group is small.. only bout 30 people.. we really do still stick close to meeting up just for a few rounds of 'murderers' at Gelaré or staying back in the library together to do work (ehems) yeah.. even though this is like, what? 2 weeks past the OBS trips?
Short to say, I'm really blessed to have been able to meet all these wonderful people, get to know them better and hang with them.. I hope this will continue even after we finished promo's yeah?!
Anyways..
Was just listening to 'Running away' by Craig David.. or was it 'walking away'? Hahah.. either one.. and the thought of it is funny.. (those of you who know join along now) lol..
I'll end of here for now.. thot I had a lot to say.. but I must strive to study!! No time should be wasted.. promos coming and I want to pass it well so I can celebrate properly!! Waaaa (hope I dun get to breakdown so often) Geez.. I just hoped that God will make me smarter somehow.. anyways.. (last few words) TAGG my BOARD please! Esp. OBS peeps! Whee~! Jya-ne! =p
