"the Pursuit of Happyness"
Damn... That was the first movie that actually got me shedding a few tears.. (real ones)
I was just coming back from school at about 6pm plus when I know I didn't wanted to go school 'cause I was sick but I had to coz there was some CCA fair at 3pm - 5pm and all when here comes the opportunity for a family outing! (We haven't had those in a long while now) Dad wanna watch a movie and Mom don't mind whichever, so I suggested the "Pursuit of Happyness" and I knew that it would be this great moving story that we're gonna watch.
Well.. I got to hand it over to ya.. This movie has the whole package. Solid storyline, a perfect delivery and great actor. I mean, Will Smith, along with his producers, directors and script-writer have made it this time. The "Pursuit of Happyness" I mean.. (yeah.. that mis-spelt happiness is also considered in the movie)
*Spoilers!*
It's about this man at the tips of his life with bad business as well as what appears to be a 'silent-separation' with his wife when he made this sudden career shift and how he struggles to keep his son happy and get the job when he got no money and became homeless for a period of time.
*Spoiler ends*
The ending then should be easy to guess - like any other 'based on true story' classics elsewhere. But let me tell ya.. The way they put it.. the way the movie was put together.. just made it that all dramatic effect and made ya feel like crying, really. Cry as in not crybaby but cry as in cry 'cause yer touched. Deeply. Emotionally. Affectionately. So I strongly recommend anybody out there to watch this movie. Period.
..erm.. I might have to edit this some more.. it's 1am in the morning while I'm typing this so it might not be the best idea to okay here I am talking crap again I guess I should better go and review it some time later..Labels: movie review
