Today was awesome...
I attended smth called 'the Friend's Party' held by the CF (which I thought it wld be this Friday turned out to be today haahh) - you're supposed to bring a friend along to the party.. but i didn't coz my 'friends' all balik alrdy(most have morning classes) but I persuaded this friend Aristo who got invited by another friend to come anyways (so it's counted right? coz he was hesitating to go and i say at least stay for the food hahah)
I didn't think it would be that awesome.. except it was that awesome.
Where usually most uni events/parties have pizzas or at the most some catering service(which was verging mediocre).. The food served at this 'party'(more like student gathering +1 teacher - yes there is) was mostly HOMEMADE and on volunteer basis(much like potluck from a few ppl), except for the doughnuts frm Big Apple and KFC chickens which came much later..and i tell you.. the food.. are .. DAMN.NICE!!
There was lotsa things being served: mee-hoon was excellent(nowhere bland), 1 whole tub/carriage of nuggets, sum1 made sandwiches, another made the chocolate cupcakes.. fruits was of course aplenty.. oh there was HOTDOG which was served Coney Dog style.. the salad was just perfect.. why don't i show u what i ate today?
oh yea i forgot to mention there's the non-halal section of white PORK and the mashed potato which was just so right.. overall awesome awesome dinner.. I reckon it's abt the ppl there that mattered too lah.. then again.. you shd see how ppl play ard in the dinnertime, like Lesley here trying to prevent Andrew from eating his nugget..
in the end Andrew managed to stuff his nugget in his mouth lah.. but man.. all pics blur coz Lesley was violently pushing on Andrew lol..
But man... awesome night it was! Even aristo was amazed at how effectively the dinner managed to 'pull' - sorta make him stay until the fruits round hahah (coz he was saying he wanted to leave early to catch GI Joe or smth lol) so yeah.. dinner was awesome yet again...
Think I've typed too much for now.. yes i did.. was planning only sharing with u abt the awesome CF party but turned out as such.. oh well ^^
Shall go back to Biz Law!! OMG Freakin' assignment due less than a week's time.. *panic panic*
