Went out earlier this morning to find smth perched on the window silt that was pointed out by Christy: a butterfly ^^
Don't ask me what breed it is cos i wouldn't know.
...
Butterflies often symbolizes many things; like souls (Japanese, Bleach), lovers(Chinese), rebirth and death. Butterflies are indeed a delicate creature. In the same way, I was reminded once again about how seemingly fragile life is by the incident that happened just last 16th of September. Apparantly a fellow student from my uni had a severe accident and died shortly after - all because of a stupid car/bike accident. I'm not saying that the incident was stupid, I think the person driving that particular vehicle was stupid. To some extent the crosser, but mostly the driver. I don't really know know the guy well, as he's already in his final semester studying Engineering (I'm in Business) - most probably my seniors will know better. But I guess I can't help but feel sorry for him as well as his friends and family. I mean, no matter what, surely there must be a lot of things yet to be done right? All of his life's future prospects.. I'm sure he'll be dearly missed and cherished. I only hope he lived his life as he wanted it to be, and that he may RIP.
Sorry for the sad and serious post, but since I was curious, I searched for more info and I found out that he was actually our Monash' (Malaysia) Badminton Club Leader, who "single-handedly revived the badminton club and created the strongest of bond between the members of the club."--'V'. If you google his name now, you can actually still find the forum that he left behind, full of his active posts etc.
Wow.
What a life he must've led.
I can just imagine the amount of ppl he had actually made an impact on.
I was reading on his friend's blog and it made me seriously sentimental. Lots of thoughts are going through my mind. Like if my friend had been the one - had I done enough as a friend? The driver of that crash - do they care? It reminded me also on the past funeral that I had attended. Must they keep reminding us that life is precious?
It's funny how Monash never publicize anything yet. I remember I came by the friday for class and it seemed like nothing happened or changed.
Then again,
all I can say is, probably a msg to myself and to those who agree with me:
Cherish your life, treasure your friends, live a life with no regrets - for those are the essentials things ought to be done in our lifetime.
To Mr Choo Jian Yi (1987-2009),
Be cautious, be wary, take care of yourself and others and hopefully a good life will follow.

T'was a day.. where Silvia and Christy last-min-ly asked me to go out and play at Sunway Lagoon with Alice and her bf and Sil-VU.. Today, they last-min say it was cancelled {aww}

I HATE MY BRO! I HATE MY BRO! I SRSLY HATE HATE HATE MY BRO!!!
Seriously, he's so fucking annoying I wish him dead. Or gone, at the least.
Just because *oh*I faaaiiilleed to wake him up when he just couldn't help it but fell asleep at 5pm (even tho he didn't say anything to me and I wasn't obliged to do so)
that, apparently, caused him sooooo grodgy, moody and disoriented and makes all kind of excuses of 'oh, my bio-clock is now messed-up, we're supposed to go out for dinner and now we can't' when he woke up at like 10pm last night. And he blames it all on me. And goes fcking annoying as hell with it too. Like a kid throwing tantrums.
He said that he has a test that he's supposed to study for tmrw morning, but *oh*because of moi, he can't possibly sleep now, can he? And what does he do after he woke up besides studying? Of course, play a game of dota or two, read manga and watch a tele-series like Prison Break. Test, right? Must be so damn easy, VU standard.
I too has a test in about 7 hours from now, and yes, unlike some, I've been trying to cram it in. Hey, maybe I'm the stupid one that has to last-min and he's like the genius of the family who doesn't need to study for any test, right? Go figure.
But srsly, I've no fucking clue what's wrong with his brain. Maybe a screw got loose. Like when I ask him about house cleaning, he (always) promises to do it *later* (who knows when? a million years?) and heck, I wake up tomorrow or the day after, it's probably not done yet. So I ask him where's that plastic gloves he so proudly bought for the sole purpose of 'cleaning' (prob I cld just do the cleaning myself) and all I get as replies? "Shut up. Shut up. Don't talk to me, I'm just gonna ignore you" whoa, what is he on? PMS? Not to mention he likes to threaten me like a big meeeaanie bully. Just because he's older and all. Oooh, I'm so scared now.
So there I was printing notes and studying last-min style with him and his prison break playing. I can't concentrate. 3am. I ask him to be quiet and oh, I should give him credit for this one, cos he considerably put on his headset(but not without putting up an argument). How nice. Eyes getting sleepy. Can't seem to concentrate. 4.30am. I moved to my room trying to study. Probably more peaceful. 5.oo I set out to sleep...
And NOW he's actually BLASTING OUT HIS AUDIO. Yes! AT THIS PRECISE WEE HOURS - how the hell am I spposed to sleep?!??! I didn't know he craves attention so badly. When I can't take it anymore and had ask him to shut it, he became this big kid throwing the 'na-na-na-Ican't-hear-you' chant like he was just asking for it. He really was asking for it.
Anyways enough about rant. Any longer I'll prob have to survive on redbull and that won't be good for the test. Thank goodness it's in the afternoon, unlike sum1's morning test. Tch, whatever, he can go watch PB for all I care.
Honestly, what a real jerk.

tonight i had the free liberty to blog again in teh midst of peacefulness of this empty loft (read: bro out to play game, hence house is pretty empty)
tonight dinner is :
fish head mee hoon soup (milk) with teh-o-limau-ais.. it's a good change to my usual diet of chicken rice and wantan mee ^^
K, I know what u Singaporeans are thinking... fish head mee hoon would prob have mee hoon(duh), good sweet soup with a hint of sourness from sliced tomatoes and a bunch of fish meat slices.. Well, yeahh.. for RM5.50 here, I do get all that, WITH the fish head.. yeah.. read properly, its srsly real fish head in there.. i almost choked when i saw those fish-eyeballs - almost. Overall it was a good meal, EXCEPT for the fact that they just had to overload it with sour veggie.. those green slices which u put in kimchi and stuff.. yeah.. but otherwise a great dinner ^^
Now, as I'm about to attempt my assignment Q2, I am..
taking up sum1's advice in mixing Baileys(original) with Pokka Greentea (srsly tho, has any1 else ever tried this?) and the result...
rather interesting...
maybe it's n00b me who don't actually know how many parts to mix it with.. but srsly, its of a weird smooth-sweet-but-bitter-taste.. Lucky I had the originals and not the coffee..
I'd srsly rather have each for separates :D
That being said, I can assure you, that
Baileys
mixed with chilled Dutch Lady's Coffee Milk (as a replacement for ice which at that time I forgot to make ahead of time)
still taste the best.
Wouldn't it be nice if I could get some for free-promotions? Hahah..

It's been a while since i've last blogged..
time has.. really moved fast..
without knowing it's already September (w00~!!?)
and soon the month of hectic-nism will begin
...

Reacently me and my bro went to Pasta Zanmai
-their monthly promo item always change-
first time round we ordered the half-grilled salmon on top of tofu salad for apetizer seen here:
and agedashi tofu, both not bad.. then he ordered lamb chop(?) -a promotional item
and I ordered Kani + Avocado Pasta in goma sauce (gee it seems simple enough that I wanna make my own >_<)
Of course to top it all off we have got to go for some desert! My choice is the tiramisu:
and it was, well.. not as nice as Angus Steakhouse in Sg BUT! It's still standardly nice ^^
Hahah I srsly could pull off a food-blog now huh.. but fear not!
Not everything to me is related to food.. I mean srsly, when we came out of the Zanmai resto.. all I cld see was:
a giant iPhone.. me wants...
and for all of you techgeeks!
